Credits and Banding
Tuition banding refers to a procedure where students are charged for the number of credits (12 for undergraduates, 6 for graduate students) that makes them full time students. MA Criminology students do receive the benefit of tuition banding. Specifically gradate students pay for their first six credits. Additional credits (up to 13 total credits) may be taken at no additional charge. Those making cost comparisons across programs should keep in mind that this has a heavy influence on the total cost of obtaining an MA degree.
