Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in Anthropology or Sociology
(ANTH 4997 OR SOC 4997)

 

POSITION:

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant FOR CREDIT

Appointment for start of next semester

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must be a major in the field

2. Strong record of academic achievement

3. Leadership skills and ability to work independently

4. Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff

DUTIES:

Vary, depending on course and faculty supervisor. May include:

  1. Supervising and serving as a resource for students doing class projects

  2. Operating audiovisual equipment

  3. Being familiar with and using computers

  4. Grading student work

  5. Other duties as specified by the instructor

APPLICATION:

Applications must be received by the end of the tenth week of the semester.  Completed applications should be returned to the Department of Sociology-Anthropology, 228 Cina Hall.
