SPONSORED PROJECTS ADMINISTRATION

Duluth's Sponsored Projects Office is a cooperative effort between UMD and the Sponsored Projects Administration on the Twin Cities Campus.

The office is supervised by Janice Sakry, Sr. Grant and Contract Administrator with the assistance of Elizabeth Rumsey, Grant and Contract Administrative Assistant.  They have overall responsibility for the administration of all sponsored projects at UMD, including the Natural Resources Research Institute (NRRI) and the Large Lakes Observatory (LLO).  Mary Jo Aubin is the Principal Administrative Specialist, who provides clerical assistance for the office.

The Office is linked in responsibility to the Twin Cities Office of the vice President for Research and linked locally to Stephen Hedman, the Associate Vice Chancellor (218)726-8839 shedman@d.umn.edu.
