Course Overview

A student perspective is provided by an undergraduate teaching assistant who leads small groups in class-related discussions every week.

Former student's description:
"Goes Straight to Source of Stress"

Study Strats is the class that teaches you about the stuff you should be doing but are not thinking about. It goes straight to the sources of a lot of stresses and works through them.

This class pertains directly to what you do in everyday life. The course covers test taking strategies, how to read a textbook, time management, note taking, and goal setting. I have served as a class teaching assistant several times and have learned new things each time.

Life is hard to juggle. Study Strats makes the school part easier.

– Maria Campanaro

Another former student's description:
"Helped Me with Test Taking"

College Study Strategies was great because it gave me different ways to take notes, and I learned how to organize my time. This class really helped me with my test-taking skills.
