6-year-old girl grazed by bullet

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (AP)
ISSUE: 78/20

Police are investigating after a 6-year-old girl was grazed by a bullet as she waited in the entryway of her apartment building for her school bus. Minneapolis police say it happened shortly after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Security cameras show someone came into the entryway. Police believe a gun slipped from that person’s waistband and down their pants. It fired and grazed the girl’s leg.
The girl was treated at the Hennepin County Medical Center for a minor injury. Police say the family called police about 30 minutes after the shooting. No one has been arrested in the case.
