Spring 2018 Registration:  Is Your Student Ready?

Spring 2018 registration is around the corner!  A little preparation now can avoid panic later.  Your student should go into their MyU Portal now to find their appointment time.  They should also check to see if they have any holds that would prevent them from registering.

The One Stop web site provides a wealth of information regarding registration, billing, financial aid, etc. There is also a link to the How to Guides, helpful step-by-step picture tutorials on how to use the MyU portal. There are links for both Students and their Parents/Guests who were granted Parent/Guest Access.

2018-2019 FAFSA
The 2018-2019 FAFSA is now available to complete on line at www.fafsa.ed.gov .  Eligible students and parents who completed a FAFSA for 2017-2018 and have a valid email address will receive a reminder email to complete the 2018-2019 FAFSA.

GREAT NEWS! The IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) is available again for 2018-2019.  The DRT is a tool many students and parents can use to help make the FAFSA application process easier and reduce the amount of documentation we request.

HELPFUL TIDBIT
Duluth is a beautiful city, especially this time of year when the leaves are painted in maroon and gold.  There is so much to do both on and off campus for little or no cost.  There are on campus activities and off campus things to do to have fun with friends or family, after class and on the weekends.
