What Is The Student Services Fee?The Student Services Fee funds non-instructional programs and activities that supplement the academic curriculum and which become an integral part of the University's educational experience. UMD’s Chancellor has charged the Student Services Fee Committee (SSFC) with making funding recommendations and overseeing the allocation of funds to registered student organizations and university departments for student activities, programs, and services. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Life (VCSL) provides logistics and support for Committee functions. DepartmentsFour University departments are supported by Student Services Fees.
