Student Services Fee Committee
Interested in serving on the Student Services Fee Committee? This committee is charged with making funding recommendations and overseeing the allocation of funds to registered student organizations and university departments for student activities, programs, and services. You can download an application online, or pick one up in 245 Kirby Plaza.

Flu Clinic
Tuesday, October 18, 10am-3pm, Kirby Student Lounge.  Flu shots will be offered to UMD students free of charge with presentation of a student ID.  The flu clinics are coordinated by Health Services, The College of Pharmacy and QuickCare.

Homecoming 5K Trail Run
Saturday, October 22, 10am (with optional Canoeing Duathlon)
The 5K: Everyone is welcome to join us for this annual 5K (3.1 Mile) trail run in Bagley Nature Area. The rich fall colors, the crisp air, and the fun Homecoming atmosphere make this a must-do activity. Start and finish at the Bagley Classroom building. The Canoe Race: After the 5K is over, try the Outdoor Program's duathlon challenge where we add your 5K race time
to a timed tandem canoe race on Rock Pond! Sign up with a partner and get ready to have a great time! No experience necessary.

Cost: $12 for UMD Students/ $15 Others
Register By: 2pm October 14 for guaranteed t-shirt. Race day registration is welcome at the Bagley Classroom in Bagley Nature Area.

Looking for an internship or employment in a foreign country? Presentation

You are invited to attend a presentation given by Tom Hanson. Tom is a Diplomat in Residence and Former US Foreign Service Officer. He will be speaking about internships and careers in international affairs and specifically with the Foreign Service. At the end of this session, you will be able to schedule an appointment to speak individually with Tom.

Government and Nonprofit Career Fair

The Government & Nonprofit Career Fair allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies. The job fair is free and open only to students and alumni from participating colleges and universities. Visit the job fair website for a list of registered employers, schedule of workshop presentations, and information on how to register.
