Attend Study Abroad 101 every Wednesday @ noon in Kirby Student Center 323 (across from the DC) This is an open session to all students to learn the basic steps to study abroad. This is a great intro for students who know they want to study abroad but don't know where to start, or for those who have found a program and want to know the "next steps". Come join us!

Visual Culture Lecture Series:

Paul Berlanga was born in Chicago 1953, and still lives there today. Berlanga studied humanities at the University of Illinois in the 1970s. Among his influences were art and design instructors who had graduated from the Institute of Design in Chicago. He studied drawing and painting at the American Academy of Art and later fell into a 20-year career dealing in used and rare books.

"FRESH Foods" workshop! Fun Recipes for Eating Sustainable and Healthy Foods. On the menu today is Hummus and pesto. Learn how to be creative in snacking in your dorm or apartment! The workshop will use colorful fruits and veggies from our "FRESH Foods" garden on the UMD campus. All recipes are designed for dorm room cooking. Garden Room, 10-11:30am.
