POV Film: "Where Soldiers Come From"

From a snowy town in northern Michigan to the mountains of Afghanistan, follow the four-year journey of childhood friends who join the National Guard. As an educational institution, UMD is able to access Point of View (POV) films and show them at no cost to campus and the community. The Office of Civic Engagement selects multiple films each semester highlighting important topics related to community, current issues, and civic engagement.

Join the UMD Alumni Association and Duluth community professionals for UMD Networking Night on Wednesday, November 14 starting at 5:30 pm.
This event will take place at the Zeitgeist Atrium in downtown Duluth (222 East Superior St.) UMD Networking Night is a fun and valuable opportunity to meet professionals in your field of study or with similar career interests.

Beginner Resume Workshop

Come learn how to craft the perfect resume! We will go over the purpose of a resume, basics of what to include/not include, format, structure, and more. This workshop is for all majors and years with no registration or sign-up necessary!

International Taste of UMD

The International Taste of UMD is held every fall semester by the International Club. The UMD students and other community members make and eat different ethnic food. There are usually 300 people who attend this free event.
