Summer Study Abroad Application Deadline

The application deadline for the Summer Study Abroad in Poland Program is February 15. The program includes a 4 credit lecture/laboratory course presented at the University of Wroclaw Institute of Genetics and Microbiology along with various cultural activities and several group excursions. The program is limited to 18 students. June 17 to July 21, $2,942 plus airfare. For details contact Arianna Austin, International Education Office, Kirby 138.

The UMD student-run Literary Guild is seeking submissions for our literary magazine, 'The Roaring Muse'! Not an English major? Not a problem. We are interested in short stories, poems, essays, and artwork that represents the full range of student interests and experiences here at UMD.
Submissions may be sent to umdlitguild@gmail.com or dropped off at our English Office mailbox.
Deadline for submissions is February 22. Not enough? Come to our meetings Weds 4:30 in Rm K351.
