The MSW Program's application materials are offered here as printable PDF or Word files. At this time they cannot be completed on-line. The forms must be printed and filled out on the paper copy.

You will also need to apply separately to the UMD Graduate School. All applications for Graduate School admission are submitted online rather than in paper form.

Apply for Admission to the MSW Program

1. Complete the Application (.pdf) (Word) for admission into the MSW progam
2. Submit a minimum of three completed recommendation forms (.pdf) (Do not use the recommendation forms in the Graduate School online application)
3. Submit a Personal Statement
4. Submit a writing sample
5. Submit a resume
6. Optional application for the 2010 Block Grant Application (.pdf) (Word)
