Misha Barkos passed her Final Oral Exam in August of 2010.

Misha's area of research was "Supporting Somali Girls in Minnesota Schools". After graduating Misha started her new job as a school social worker in the Hermantown Public Schools.

Tamara Miskovic passed her Final Oral Exam in July of 2010.

Tamara's area of research was "The Evacuation of Children During the Occupation of Sarajevo (1992-1995)". While completing her MSW at UMD Tamara was employed at East Hillside PATCH and Woodland Hills. She intended to start in the Ph.D. Program at the University of British Columbia School of Social Work in September 2010.

 

Dana Stroshein passed her Final Oral Exam in March of 2010.

Dana's area of interest in her Personal Practice Model (PPM) Masters Project was "Multi Racial Identity Development." At the time of graduation Dana was a case manager at Woodland Hills in Duluth.

Leah Zook passed her Final Oral Exam in January 2010.

Leah's area of interest in her Personal Practice Model (PPM) Masters Project was "The Oppression of Single Mother Headed Households in America." Leah intended to pursue a position in child welfare practice after graduation.
