Bridget

Bridget Ideker passed her Final Oral Exam on August 20, 2012.  Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice and community organizing. Bridget is looking for a position in child protection or tribal child welfare in Duluth and the surrounding area.

 

Rochelle


Rochelle M Kredovski passed her Final Oral Exam on 10/12/12. Rochelle is a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor and currently works at Fond du Lac Human Services at the Center for American Indian Resources Division as a Rule 25 chemical health assessor. Rochelle's primary study was Clinical Mental Health. Rochelle passed her LGSW exam November 2012 and plans to begin soon her clinical supervision at FDL to become an LICSW.

Kristina Ostrowski passed her Final Oral Exam on August 31, 2012. Her special area of interest is child welfare practice. Kristina works at Nystrom and Associates in Baxter, Minnesota and she recently competed her field placement at Morrison County Social Services. She will be seeking employment in public or tribal child welfare.

Chaquana

ChaQuana McEntyre passed her final oral exam on August 31, 2012.  ChaQuana was a Child Welfare Scholar and recently completed her Field II placement at SLCPHHS. ChaQuana will be employed at SLCPHHS doing family group work. Her goal is to become an LICSW and work in the field of sexology.

Alicia Bartel passed her final oral exam on August 10th, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare and mental health. She completed her Field II internship at St. Louis County in the ICWA Unit. Alicia will be moving to Rochester, MN to work for Family Service Rochester as an In-Home Therapist. In this position, Alicia will utilize her skills working with families and children addressing concerns of truancy, severe neglect and abuse, and mental illness. 

Chandra


Chandra Clark passed her Final Oral Exam on August 21, 2012.  Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice. Chandra is looking for a position in child protection or tribal child welfare in Duluth and the surrounding area.

Amy Mallum passed her Final Oral Exam on May 31, 2012. Her special area of interest is in clinical social work. Amy is a Professional Foster Care Case Manager for North Home Children and Family Services in Grand Rapids, MN.

Nick Haas passed his Final Oral Exam in July of 2012. His current position is a Behavioral Therapist working with children with autism.   Nick says, "I am keeping my options open and looking for a possible position as a school social worker." He is working in the Twin Cities.

Danette Kimball passed her Final Oral Exam on May 8, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice and she completed her Field II internship with Arrowhead Regional Corrections in the Juvenile Unit. She will be seeking employment in public or tribal child welfare.

Kelsey Leonard passed her Final Oral Exam on May 8, 2012. Her special area of interest is school social work and she completed her Field II internship at Woodland Middle School in Duluth. Kelsey will be moving to Colombus, Indiana following graduation and seeking employment as a school social worker.

Liz Siebenaler passed her Final Oral Exam on May 8, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice. Liz is a Child Foster Care Social Worker at St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services in Duluth, Minnesota.

Laura Brandt passed her Final Oral Exam on April 30, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice. She hopes to locate a career where she can advocate for families and children. Laura completed her advanced field placement at the First Witness Child Abuse Resource Center in Duluth, MN.

Hannah Pierre passed her Final Oral Exam on May 1, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice. Hannah is presently a school social worker at Denfeld High School in Duluth. Following graduation she will be moving to Des Moines, Iowa and seeking employment in public child welfare.

Molly Becker passed her Final Oral Exam on May 4, 2012. Her special area of interest is in Adult Mental Health. Molly will be moving to Las Vegas, Nevada following graduation.

Matthias Norenberg passed his Final Oral Exam on May 4, 2012. His special area of interest is in child welfare practice. Matthias is a Child Protection Case Manager for St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services in Hibbing, MN. He will begin work as a Trainer for the Minnesota Child Welfare Training System with a focus on the Signs of Safety Curriculum.

Tory White passed her Final Oral Exam on May 4, 2012. Her special area of interest is in macro social work practice. Tory is interested in working at a college or university and did fieldwork with the International Student Office at UMD. She is presently employed at Planned Parenthood. Immediately following graduation Tory will be participating in a Culture Health and Social Welfare Policy course through the University of Minnesota. in South Korea.

Bryana Cook passed her Final Oral Exam on May 2, 2012. Her special area of interest is in school social work. Bryana will starting a school social work position with the Walker Hackensack Akeley Schools following International travel to South Korea where she will be participating in a Culture, Health and Social Welfare Policy course through the University of Minnesota.

Cecelia Bloomquist passed her Final Oral Exam on May 3, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice and clinical social work. Cecelia also passed her Licensed Graduate Social Work (LGSW) Exam prior to receiving her MSW. Cecelia plans to seek a position in public or tribal child welfare or clinical social work in her home community of Grand Marais or the North Shore of Lake Superior.

Benita Gusaas-Goodwin passed her Final Oral Exam on March 27, 2012. Her special area of interest is in mental health. Benita is employed as a Mental Health Case Manager at Fond du Lac Health and Human Services.

John Sundell passed his Final Oral Exam on May 1, 2012. His special area of interest in in the area of child welfare practice. John is employed at the Human Development Center in Duluth as a Children's Mental Health Case Mananger.

Sara Griffith passed her Final Oral Exam on January 8, 2012. Her special area of interest in her Final Master's Personal Practice Model (PPM) paper was working with people with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Sara is employed as a Behavior Analyst with Pathways to Achievement, Inc in Duluth.
