Her focus is on clinical practice working with children and families, and her area of interest is working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a holistic setting. Rebecca passed her LGSW last August and is searching a position where she can attain her LICSW.

Kirsten Hedlund passed her final oral exam on May 15, 2013. Her special area of interest is in macro practice, community organizing and community development from a feminist perspective. She is moving to Detroit, Michigan and will be seeking employment as an MSW there. |

Amanda Radtke passed her final oral exam on May 14, 2013. Amanda’s area of interest is clinical practice and she plans to pursue her LICSW. Amanda has accepted a job offer and will begin her career as a psychotherapist at the Human Development Center in Cloquet, Minnesota. |

Shelly Symons passed her final oral exam on May 10th. Her focus is on clinical social work in early childhood mental health. Shelly will continue to provide mental health services to children on the Child and Family Services Team at HDC and seeks to obtain her LICSW in the future. She wishes to provide a specialized focus in TF-CBT with families who have experienced domestic violence. |

Valerie Trulsen passed her oral exam on Monday May 13th. She passed her LGSW exam the middle of this last April and is moving to Grand Rapids where she accepted a job working with families who have children with autism and developmental disabilities. Valerie's new job will allow her the opportunity to provide services all over the Range as well as work towards her LICSW. |

Bridget Hines passed her oral exam on May 9th, 2013. She also passed her LGSW test at the end of April of this year with the intent of earning her social work clinical license in the future. Her special area of interest is children’s mental health. Bridget is searching for a position in the schools and looks forward to working with children and their families. |

Shinay Rasmusson passed her Final Oral Exam on May 10, 2013. Her special area of interest is in working in micro and macro practice settings with particular emphasis on diversity and equity. Shinay is starting a new job with the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency in Virginia, Minnesota as a Minority Job Coach. |

Joni Nordberg passed her final oral exam on May 9th. She also passed her LGSW exam this week and will be staying in Duluth. Joni's plan is to find a job that can provide supervision for her LICSW. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults. |

Jessica Sweeney passed her final oral exam on May 8th. Jessica's focus is on clinical social work with adolescents and hopes to start an adventure-based therapy program. She will continue residing in the Duluth area. |

Jensina Rosen passed her final oral exam on May 9, 2013. Her special areas of interest include social work research, community planning, and policy analysis/development. After graduation, she will remain in the Duluth area and pursue a career in macro social work practice. |
Ryan Mairs passed his Final Oral Exam on May 9, 2013. His special area of interest is in clinical social work and working with veterans. He has recently been hired as a Readjustment Therapist for the VA working out of the LaCrosse Vets Center. in Wisconsin. Ryan also passed the ASWB Exam at the Master's Level for the Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker license. |

Megan Havrilla passed her Final Oral Exam on May 8, 2013. Her special area of interest is in program development and macro social work practice. Megan is returning to Michigan following graduation where she will be seeking employment. |

Nicole Vaineo passed her oral exam on May 6th, 2013. Nicole focused on the clinical aspect of the program; she hopes to obtain her LICSW. Nicole passed the LGSW test in February of this year. She was hired on at Accend Services in Duluth, MN as a clinical associate. |

Heather Giancola passed her oral exams on May 6, 2013. Heather had a double focus in the standard program - both clinical and child welfare. She will continue to work as a social worker at Carlton County. In the future, Heather and a few other graduates hope to open a private practice providing clinical social work services to people in Carlton County. |
Jade Seelye passed her Final Oral Exam on May 2, 2013. Her special area of interest is in violence against women and domestic violence issues. Jade is returning to Michigan to work as a Crisis Intervention Worker/Children's Advocate at the Diane Peppler Resource Center in Sault Ste. Marie. |
Lisa Humphrey passed her Final Oral Exam on May 2, 2013. Her special area of interest is child welfare practice. Lisa is working as a Juvenile Justice Case Manager at Sawyer County Health and Human Services. She will be moving to a position as a social worker in Child Protection Services.

Tim Berdahl passed his Final Oral Exam on May 2, 2013. His special area of interest is in clinical social work and he completed his advanced field placement at Grief Support Services at Essentia Health – St. Mary's Medical Center. Tim works as a pastor at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Duluth. |

Bridget Ideker passed her Final Oral Exam on August 20, 2012. Her special area of interest is in child welfare practice and community organizing. Bridget is looking for a position in child protection or tribal child welfare in Duluth and the surrounding area. |

Rochelle M Kredovski passed her Final Oral Exam on 10/12/12. Rochelle is a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor and currently works at Fond du Lac Human Services at the Center for American Indian Resources Division as a Rule 25 chemical health assessor. Rochelle's primary study was Clinical Mental Health. Rochelle passed her LGSW exam November 2012 and plans to begin soon her clinical supervision at FDL to become an LICSW.

ChaQuana McEntyre passed her final oral exam on August 31, 2012. ChaQuana was a Child Welfare Scholar and recently completed her Field II placement at SLCPHHS. ChaQuana will be employed at SLCPHHS doing family group work. Her goal is to become an LICSW and work in the field of sexology. |

Alicia will be moving to Rochester, MN to work
for Family Service Rochester as an In-Home Therapist.
In this position, Alicia will utilize her skills
working with families and children addressing concerns
of truancy, severe neglect and abuse, and mental

Justin Martin passed his Final Oral Exam in October 2011.
Justin received a child welfare scholarship and completed his fieldwork at St. Louis County Health and Human Services. He is currently doing some community work with Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores (COGGS) in the development of accessible bike trails for all. He is seeking employment in child welfare practice. |

Kathleen Wright passed her Final Oral Exam in September 2011.
Kathleen completed her Final Master's Project Portfolio with an emphasis on public/tribal child welfare and mental health. Kathleen plans to interview at rural mental health agencies with a focus in cultural competency. She is preparing for the LGSW exam and her long-term goal is to obtain her LICSW. |
