Erin works as a Community Program Specialist for the Center for Regional and Tribal Child Welfare Studies in the Social Work Department. Erin graduated with an undergraduate degree in history from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and holds a MSW from UMD where he was a Title IV-E child welfare scholar. His interest in Indian child welfare led him to co-author research on tribal sovereignty and Indian Child Welfare in Minnesota. These findings were presented at the 2007 National Indian Child Welfare Conference. Erin’s current work and research interests focus on collaborative, community-based program evaluation in tribal communities. Erin was born and raised in Duluth, Minnesota.
