Leslie Chaplin has 20 years of experience in the field of children's mental health including work as program director, child/adolescent psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and program consultant. She holds a Masters in social work from the University of Minnesota Duluth and earned her private practice license (LICSW) in 2002. Her passion is the development of new programming to better serve children with mental health needs across disciplines.
Leslie works at Northwood Children's Services as the Director of Continued Care to develop a full continuum of services for children and families with mental health needs. Leslie also teaches Advanced Practice in Mental Health as an Adjunct Professor with UMD's MSW program.
When not at work, she is an avid gardener, dog lover and beekeeper.
