Jensina E. Rosen is the Student Support Coordinator for the Center for Regional and Tribal Child Welfare Studies in the Department of Social Work. She is responsible for the recruitment, support, and tracking of all child welfare scholars.  She also works with other Center staff to develop and enhance existing child welfare curriculum.


Jensina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work degree from the College of St. Scholastica and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. She has done professional work in the fields of public defense, offender re-entry, and client rights advocacy. Her areas of interest include reducing disparities and disproportionalities in the fields of both child welfare and criminal justice, tribal sovereignty and Indian Child Welfare Act compliance, public policy, and anti-oppressive social work practice.
