As an MSW field supervisor you are eligible for an unpaid Academic Professional appointment, which affords the privileges of an e-mail account and on-line library access. The Department of Social Work is now making available additional benefits through the UCard. These benefits include:

If you already have a field supervisor appointment, you may obtain a UCard. If you are not sure if you have an appointment, please contact Karen Nichols at 726-8023.

Allow 2 weeks for processing before visiting the UCard office. Bring a government issued photo ID to Kirby Plaza, Room 127 and be prepared to have your picture taken. Note: If you were a student at UMD in the past and still have your UMD Student ID card, you may not need to obtain a new card. Once we receive your completed form, we will be able to determine the need for a new card and will contact you.
