Bemidji Area School’s mission is to empower each learner to succeed in our diverse and changing world. Bemidji High School serves approximately 1400 students in 9-12th grade.

Educational experiences available to students include, but are not limited to: interviewing students and parents and compiling information for social histories; individual intervention/crisis plans with students; student/family advocating for appropriate school support; peer mediation; skills groups with special education students; classroom presentations on mental health issues; in-service trainings; grant writing when available; fund raising opportunities when available; and participation in community task forces such as Suicide Prevention, Prevention Alliance, and Interagency meetings.
