The Mission of the Carlton County Children & Family Services Collaborative is to achieve an effective, collaborative, and comprehensive system of social, educational, and health services to strengthen and support families. A multitude of different intervention and prevention services are provided which are funded through collaborative efforts with schools, public health and social services of FDL and Carlton County, area mental health agencies, and law enforcement agencies. Programs are also created and funded by various grant sources through state and federal departments including DHS, the University of MN, and other private interest groups including foundations.

| Description of Field Activities |
FIELD II students would have the opportunity to work through a variety of advanced generalist methods and interventions from micro to mezzo to macro. This agency is a central hub for piloting programs, securing funding, reporting results, grant writing, providing training, organizing task forces, and implementing services to the community which are not replicated elsewhere. The student has the opportunity to be involved in grant writing, grant reporting, Restorative Justice program activities, Truancy Prevention Program, Jump Start, CHILD Network, Universal Home Visiting Program, Young Parent Program, Text4Life, Operation Community Connect, and Family School Support Workers Program.
