Floodwood Services and Training provides needed services to the community while creating meaningful employment. FST serves persons 18 years of age and up, including people having no disability to those that have Developmental Disabilities, Dementia, Alzheimer, Persistent Mental Illness, etc. FST holds two Minnesota State licenses, Day Training and Habilitation (DT&H) and Adult Day Service (ADS). DT&H service is for individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability who may or may not have the ability to gain work skills. The ADS program provides caregivers the respite opportunity to have their loved ones cared for in a professional safe environment. Also, FST offers a Prevocational/Supported Employment program for people with persistent mental illness. 

Students will help conduct intake interviews for new clients, write program plans, provide case management, counseling, and will aid in writing reports and goals for the clients. Student will also help supervise staff, provide leadership and problem solving for staff, and will aid in agency planning and trainings.
