The Access to Community Employment (ACE) program specifically works with integrated employment as Douglas County experiences a paradigm shift from sheltered workshop employment to offering choice/options for integrated or inclusive employment in real community jobs for real pay.
Services provided by the Access to Community Employment program include consumer assessments, consumer and employment discovery, job club experiences, job development, job carving, customized employment, employment supports, and other services to be determined.
