Agency Description:

Upward Bound Vision Quest (UBVQ) is a college access program designed to meet the academic and motivational needs of low income students who are potentially the first generation of their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. The UBVQ program provides academic and college awareness services to 135 students in grades 9 – 12 at Denfeld High School and four Minneapolis schools (South, Edison, Roosevelt, and Wellstone International). In addition to working with students during the academic year, the program provides its students with a six week, residential, academic summer program which is conducted on both the Duluth and Twin Cities campuses of the University.
