The mission of the Crow Wing County Family Services Collaborative—Collaborative
Service Team is to nurture resiliency through relationship building.
Services offered include Early Intervention and Prevention Services
primarily Life Skills Counseling, Parent Training, Resource Linkage,
and Consultation. |
| Description of Field Activities |
The opportunities in this field experience will be varied. The student
will be able to conduct one to one counseling sessions with students
and parents, group counseling sessions with students and adults,
in-home family counseling, consultation to teachers and other school
and non-profit agency staff. They will be responsible to maintain
case notes regarding their counseling sessions as well as to track
monthly statistical data. They will be responsible for develop service
plans for the children and families they work with. |

This agency is only approved for Field II placements, as there is
presently no MSW on-site to provide supervision. (as
of 8/11/05) |
