Agency Description:	This agency provides services for income eligible preschool children and their families. Services include opportunities to enhance social and cognitive skills, increase health and wellness, and build on family strengths.
Description of Field Activities	The student will assist the Head Start Social Worker in reviewing all Basic Needs Surveys, Interest Inventories and DIAL 3 Parent Questionnaires and complete follow-up contacts if needed (possibly home visits) and document contacts; develop friendship groups in class; provide information to the teachers regarding behavioral interventions; write informational article for Head Start newsletter; assist with special ed process; attend meetings; conduct parent interviews; complete assessments; write up reports; attend IEP meetings.
Approval for Field I, II, Either??	This agency has been approved for Field II, as there is no MSW on-site. Efective 2006, ISD #709 discontinued social work services to Head Start.
