Pathways to Achievement provides comprehensive individualized counseling services to brain injured adults. The counseling services include individual therapy, functional assessments and group therapy. Student will assist in completing diagnostic assessments, individual treatment plans and progress notes. This is a for profit agency.

The student would be involved in developing micro practice skills through individual therapy with the residents. They will provide counseling with residents with traumatic brain injuries, along with other mental health issues. The student will also be able to participate in a variety of mezzo practice by attending leadership conferences, which are offered each quarter with the supervisors of TBI Residential & Community Services. They could also be involved in planning of the clinical services that Pathway’s offers to the residents. They would also be involved in house staff meetings, which include discussions, effective feedback, organizational development and team development. They will experience our Day program which offers programming to our residents Monday through Friday from 10 am to 3 pm. They will have the opportunity to watch and participate in groups that are overseen by our Occupational Therapist.
