Approved Child Welfare Field Agencies

The following field agencies have been approved by the UMD Department of Social Work Field Program as appropriate for child welfare field placements. All standard program MSW students must complete their Field I placement at a county or tribal child welfare agency (primary placmement). Field II placements may be in county, tribal, non-profit, hospital or school settings as long as the emphasis is working with at-risk children and families (primary and secondary placements). All students must contact the Field Coordinator prior to contacting any field agency for an interview.
