Field Supervisors Training Courses

All MSW field supervisors are required to complete training with the Department of Social Work prior to being eligible to provide supervision to MSW students in their field placements.

Our most recent in-person training was on Friday September 18th, 2009. The topic was:
"Practice Behaviors", "Competency" and Field Education: Implications for you and your MSW students. Our next in-person training will be in collaboration with the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Wisconsin-Superior in April of 2009.

The on-line training is provided as an alternative for those unable to attend the
in-person Department of Social Work Field Training. Field supervisors are encouraged to
review this material at their convenience.
