| Agency Description: | Stellher Human Services provides an array of community based services/interventions. Services range from universal, class-wide skills training provided by the School/Home interventionists to selected interventions provided individually or in small groups by mental Health Professionals and Practitioners to intensive and individualized interventions provided by Mental Health Professionals. |
| Description of Field Activities | Students will be exposed to the use of the DSM-IV TR, learn to identify symptoms and appropriate interventions related to mental health disorders. These would include individual, family and group skills training and development, with accompanying documentation. Students will learn a variety of treatment modalities. Individual, family and group skills counseling and psychotherapy are used. Services provided include family-based in-home services, family community support services, children's mental health case management, case management clinical supervision and day treatment. |
