Rose
Robinson, MSW, is an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Ms. Robinson has over 30 years of experience
working in tribal child welfare. She has
been the director of an urban tribal child welfare service agency, ICWA program
consultant for the State of Minnesota, and director of the Leech Lake Child
Welfare Program. She has served on
numerous boards and councils in the field of child welfare, including the
Minnesota Indian Child Welfare Advisory Council, the DHS Task Force on
Financing for Tribal Child Welfare Programs, and the Program Improvement Plan
Advisory Committee for the Title IV-E audit, U.S. Department of Health and
Human Services. Ms. Robinson has been
featured in a book on
prominent Native women in Minnesota, Holding Our World Together: Ojibwe
Women and the Survival of Community, authored by Brenda Child, Professor
at the
University of Minnesota.
