In A Catalogue of the Pictures and Drawings in the Collection of Frederick John Nettlefold by Grundy, Vol 4, page 253, published privately in London in 1933. Sold for £800 + 10% at Sotheby Parke Bernet & Co., London, Nineteenth Century European Paintings auction of 5 October 1983, lot 174. This is very likely to be the same painting as #186.
