The date indicates that this was painted after Munger returned to the U.S. but the scene is clearly in Venice. This painting hung in living room of Tweed Hall, Duluth MN, as late as the 1970s. It was sold at a Duluth Art Institute auction in 1990 to Owens Yacht Sales in Duluth.
