Works
of art can tell us about ourselves and about the world in which
we live. For hundreds of years artists have created images
of landscapes, which were more than just backdrops for human
stories. They began to appreciate the earth for its own beauty.
In more modern times, many artists have used their art to make
people aware of how important it is to take care of our planet.
