DIRECTIONS


ORDEAN CLOSURE*

Ordean Court is being renovated and will be closed from May 22 through August 2019

During the closure of Ordean Court, all outside doors to Ordean Court will be closed with the exception of the Sports and Health Center outside door near the ice rink.

You will be able to access the museum through the entry from the Swenson Science and Engineering building from parking lot G or walk along University Drive to Sports & Health Center to access the side door and take a right and follow the hallway all the way to the end, where Weber Musical Hall is located; then turn right through the Music Department hall that will lead you to Tweed.

Another point of entry is via Solon Campus Center (SCC). Park at the metered area (free at 5 pm). Enter via the main SCC entrance and take a right to follow the hallway to Tweed, or take the side pathway, past the sculpture, to the side entry to Cina Hall. After you pass the second double doors, take a right and walk until you see Tweed Museum on your left.

The Tweed Museum of Art is located in the Humanities Building on the campus of the University of Minnesota Duluth. The museum is at Ordean Court, just beyond the Jacques Lipchitz sculpture of Sieur du Luth.

From the south: Take I-35 North, exit at 21st Avenue East; Make a left off the exit cross london road and take 21s uphill; make a right onto Woodland Ave; left onto College St.; right onto campus on University Drive; park at the meters on the left, just outside of Solon Campus Center.

From the Range: Highway 53 to Arrowhead Road (left); Right on Woodland; Right on College; Right on University Drive and onto UMD Campus; metered parking is on the left just outside of Solon Campus Center. Parking is available in the Solon Campus Center metered lot, off of University Drive, adjacent to the UMD campus flag standards. Enter at Solon Campus Center, then right to Tweed. The Tweed Museum of Art is fully accessible and parking is available in the Solon Campus Center noted above.

PARKING


Tweed Museum of Art is located on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus at 1201 Ordean Court, Duluth, MN 55812.

METERED PARKING - PURPLE AREAS
Free Metered parking evenings at 6:30pm, Monday through Friday, weekends, year-round, as well as during official UMD holidays when campus is closed.

LOT G PARKING - PINK AREA
Free parking at Lot G, off University Drive, at 5:00pm, Monday through Friday when the campus is in session.

Overnight parking is not allowed. Free parking at Lot G weekend, and summer after finals spring semester to the first day of classes fall semester
