Tours introduce students to the Tweed Museum of Art as a unique campus/community resource, and allow utilization of exhibitions in conjunction with teaching in your subject area. Tours are designed
Tour programs are at the core of our educational services
+ Tours are conducted by Gallery Teachers, made up of trained University of Minnesota Duluth students and community volunteers, as well as museum staff.
Several upcoming and ongoing exhibitions from Tweed's permanent collection in our galleries of European and American, Historical, Modern and Contemporary Art suggest ties to political and social history, geography, language and culture.
The individual artworks change periodically, but the themes remain, making lessons around the themes easier to plan.
