The Way of Cheng-Khee Chee: Paintings 1974-2014


The University for Seniors offers a couple of opportunities to connect with the new Cheng-Khee Chee exhibition, on view at Tweed Museum of Art, May 12 through September 20, 2015.




UMD University for Seniors Lecture Series introduces the artist and his work through the exhibition The Way of Cheng-Khee Chee: Paintings 1974-2014. Peter Spooner's presentation as curator of the exhibition is April 22, 2015 at 2:30pm at the Olive Anna Tezla Library and Resource Center, located upstairs at the Tweed Museum of Art.


This lecture is free and open to the public (space is limited to 70 guests, so come early)




The second opportunity is a UMD University for Seniors 4-week short course, based on the exhibition The Way of Cheng-Khee Chee: Paintings 1974-2014, scheduled for March 26, April 2, 9, and 16, 2015, from 8:30 to 10:30am.


Peter Spooner, exhibition curator, will lead the course in Kirby Plaza 309, UMD.


This four-week class is for individuals who are 50+ years of age and who participate in the University for Seniors Program. Individuals can view program details, register online, and see other lifelong learning courses at
