FIRST FOLIO! The Book That Gave Us SHAKESPEARE

The Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. sent out the First Folio to 50 states as of January 4, 2016 to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. The 1623 First Folio is the first printed collection of all of Shakespeare’s plays and will be exhibited at Tweed from October 4 -26.  Visitors will view the Folio as well as interpretive exhibitions, theatrical performances, and educational initiatives.
