#108. Near Marlotte. 12 x 18, oil on panel. "Gilbert Munger" lower left.
Bought-in at Christie's, Amsterdam, sale of 26 Oct 1999, lot 87, est NLG 6000-8000. A faded handwritten label on the reverse is reported as showing "Near Marlotte". The painting looks like other Munger French scenes. A village named Marlotte is found about 15 km SE from the village of Barbizon in France, an area where Munger painted extensively.
