This painting is of the same group trees as depicted in items #88, #99, #165, #172, and #256. One of these has a date of 1890, so this painting is also likely to depict a Barbizon scene. From a Munger faimly member about 30 years ago to the Connecticut dealer David McCoy, who sold it to a Connecticut collector.
