Private Tutoring Requests and References
Requests for private tutoring are accepted from UMD students and from the surrounding community. Frequently, parents are looking for assistance for their elementary and secondary students. Requests for private tutoring are recorded in a notebook which is made available to students tutoring in the Center. When a tutor takes a request, s/he contacts the requesting party directly to make specific tutoring arrangements regarding fee, time, and place. A minimum fee of $20 per hour is suggested.
