Late Payment Fees

Late payment fees of $30 are assessed for paying less than the minimum amount due or paying after the due date printed on the billing statement. Payments must be received (not postmarked) by the due date to avoid a late fee and a hold on your record. On-line payments must be completed by 5 p.m. central time on the due date to be considered on time.

By making payment in full by the first due date, you will avoid all late and/or installment rebilling fees.

You are responsible for checking your UMD email account for your electronic bill and making your account payment(s) on time.

Late Registration Fees

A late registration fee will be assessed for any initial registration which occurs on or after the first day of classes:

• $50.00 during the first or second week
• $100.00 thereafter

No late registration fees are charged for May or Summer Session
