Volunteers and UMD


The Volunteer’s First Day

Departments should make every effort to ensure that all volunteers are well-grounded in the basic University policies and tenets for appropriate conduct. This should be done by having the volunteer read the following:

2. Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources

If the volunteer did not look up the EOAA document referenced on his/her cover letter, make certain that s/he either reviews online or receives a copy of the “Office of Equal Opportunity & Affirmative Action: Opening doors for over 30 years” brochure.
