Learn how to make your life easier! Representatives
from Bayard Advertising are coming to UMD to introduce themselves
and their services.
As you may know, the University has a long standing partnership
with The Minnesota Minority Media Coalition (MMMC) and Bayard Advertising,
Inc. (Bayard), to provide all University hiring authorities with
specially trained media consultants who can help with the development
and placement of employment ads. If you are running a display ad,
they will provide graphic designers to work on the design of the
ad.
Utilizing these services is almost always FREE. In most cases,
they receive their commission from the media, so you are only
charged the current line rate for each publication. You are encouraged
to take advantage of this service to guarantee you are meeting
all University advertising requirements and to improve the quality,
diversity and quantity of applicants for your vacant positions.
For many positions you may wish to contact both the MMMC and Bayard.
Facilitators: Pat Ludlow, Heather Davis, and Rebecca Gish
of Bayard Advertising.
Who should attend: deans, directors, supervisors, managers
and search committee support staff. |
