Managing the H-1B Visa Process

This important session will provide an update and overview of:

• The purpose and nature of the H-1B visa including specifics of H-1B parameters and requirements, wage regulations, educational credentials, timelines and fees.
• H-1B employment terms and mandatory compliance issues.
• Alternative work visas (J-1, F-1 Optional Practical Training, TN, O-1) availability and when they are appropriate.

Finally, we will lead participants through the ISSS H-1B website and how to navigate the online INSZoom application software.
