Workers' Compensation ResourcesFunding programs through the U of M Office of Environmental Health and Safety The University of Minnesota Office of Environmental Health and Safety administers a number of office furniture/accessories reimbursement programs for employees. Send requests to:
REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAMS Contact Shelly Frohripof UReturn - Employee Services at UMD regarding these reimbursement programs.
***Reimburse 25% for a general office ergonomics evaluation. Copies of the ergonomics evaluation report, paid invoices, and EFS number are required for the rebate. ***Reimburse 50% if working with Office of Disability Services/UReturn (DS) and a letter from DS is on file with the U of M Office of Environmental Health and Safety. ***Reimburse 100% for accommodation in connection with a filed and accepted claim for Workers' Compensation, for approved products. Any equipment purchased with this section must travel with the employee if transferring to another position. All equipment must be an approved model from the ergonomics program and purchasing. Other items may qualify if pre-approved. |
