SLIPS, TRIPS, AND FALL INCIDENTS


IF INJURY/ILLNESS IS AN EMERGENCY,
DIAL 911 FOR IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE

All incidents MUST BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY to UMD Campus Police (726-7000) and the UMD Facilities Management (726-8262). This can be done by the person who has fallen, if s/he is able, or by someone in the area of the fall or an employee's department.

Additionally, documentations should be completed for all slip, trip and fall incidents.

FOR EMPLOYEES during work hours, go to http://www.d.umn.edu/umdhr/WorkComp/

FOR OTHERS: (1) students not employed at the University of Minnesota, (2) visitors, and (3) employees during non-work hours, go to http://www.d.umn.edu/umdhr/WorkComp/nonemployee.htm
