Checklist for New Employees as soon as your name appears in the People Directory:

• Get a parking permit - 245-B Kirby Plaza, 218-726-7526
• Sign up for direct deposit
• Register for New Employee Orientation

A New Employee Orientation (NEO) is conducted by the Department of Human Resources & Equal Opportunity for new and newly benefits eligible (Civil Service/Labor Represented) employees with appointment of 50% or greater. NEO is your introduction to University of Minnesota Duluth, benefits offered by University of Minnesota and the wealth of opportunities available to you.

• how to enroll for health benefits
• Regents' Scholarship
• Employee Assistance Program
• services and programs on the Duluth campus;
• programs available to support your personal and professional development; and
• optional tour of UMD.
