Debbie Bowen
Debbie is the Information Technology Professional for the University of Minnesota
Sea Grant Program located at UMD. Her co-workers say she is patient and highly
productive even when under pressure. Her ability to respond quickly and efficiently
to crisis is one of Debbie's strongest points.
She has done an outstanding job in designing, developing, and distributing
Sea Grant publications using innovative ideas for the use of videos, web sites,
and CD's. This has resulted in Sea Grant receiving numerous awards and reaching
their highest number of distrubuted publications to total 180,000 - and the
highest amount of web traffic (43,000 people from over 100 countries accessed
from the site a total of five million times).
It's a privilege to present her with this Continuous Service award.
