Continuous Service
Vickery French
Vickery is the Program Associate for the Minnesota Rural Health School, within
the School of Medicine. This Health School is a community-based, interdisciplinary
educational program that provides experiences for students at seven rural Minnesota
sites.
Vickery has been the driving force behind the effort to standardize the curriculum
across the seven sites. She has developed a set of 13 core curriculum components
for all students by working with faculty and site coordinators.
Vickery’s dedication to the Minnesota Rural Health School is truly outstanding,
and her dedication is infectious. She is extremely well-liked by the community
site coordinators, students participants, and the academic and community faculty.
The glowing review she receives on the end-of-session program evaluations is
testimony to her great value to the program.
